Our progression into the Access Cover market was brought about by the increasing pressure being applied to asset managers in their quest to squeeze every last minute out of every asset while meeting existing standards and budgets.

Ductile Iron and concrete covers are prone to corrosion due to chemical attack particularly within the sewer system with reports that some sites are being replaced every couple of years.
Composite covers have excellent resistance to sewage and a wide range of chemicals so have a much longer life expectancy than other materials in corrosive installations.

Composite covers are lighter than the metal or concrete alternatives at the same load class making them easier to handle.
A 600 diameter Class D to AS3996:2019 cover weighs only 34kg, a Ductile Iron cover weighs at least 38kg.
